A-1 Lapping was founded in 1975 and has experienced steady growth since its inception. We attribute much of that success to the hands-on relationships that we have with our customers and our willingness to tackle even the most difficult projects. In 2008 we invested over 1.2 million dollars into Stahli Fine Grinding equipment which included one Stahli 705 and one Stahli 1205. At that time, ours was the first Stahli 1205 in the world. While we have always and will continue to pride ourselves on our vast knowledge and experience with various lapping processes, our vision was and is that Fine Grinding is the future of the market. Since that time we have continued to invest and have added to our unrivaled fleet of Stahli equipment to now include 1 Stahli FLM700 single sided machine, two Stahli 705 machines, two Stahli 1205 machines, and one Stahli 1405 machine which is also the first in the world. Through this continuous investment A-1 stays ahead of the market and our competition which ensures our customers the best value.
